I’m Tyler Berg, a musician and educator with a deep passion for sharing my knowledge and process. I have a bachelor of arts in jazz studies from Columbia College, a lifelong history of multi-instrumentalism, and over two decades of professional performance experience touring nationally and internationally. I have been teaching music for more than 17 years and appreciate the unique relationships we’re each able to build with this deeply human art form.

My approach seamlessly merges cross genre sensibilities with music fundamentals to tailor an educational experience that meets the needs for each of my students. Whether you’re looking to learn an instrument for the first time or are a seasoned player seeking a new approach, I would love to be a part of your journey.

When I’m not in the music studio, you can find me rock climbing, practicing yoga, on an adventure with my dog, Zero, or spending quality time with friends and family.
